How Triplo began.
Triplo began long before it had a name.
It started with Camille Leavold, CEO of Abbots Care, through years spent supporting people and families at home and often during moments of change, uncertainty, or transition.
In those conversations, travel came up again and again.
Not as something people had stopped wanting, but as something that had become harder to access.
A birthday trip that felt too complicated to organise.
A family holiday that felt too risky to manage alone.
A long-held dream quietly paused because no one could see how it would work anymore.
And always the same underlying truth people didn’t need less world. They needed a clearer way into it.
What was missing wasn’t desire. It was structure. Confidence. Joined-up thinking between care, logistics and travel itself.
Why we exisit
Simple, we’re here as a response to a gap that kept showing up in real life.
Ageing shouldn’t quietly close the world off but for many people, it does. Travel starts to feel risky, complicated, or like it’s ‘not for people like me anymore’, even when the desire to go is still there.
The challenge isn’t people. It’s the way travel is built.
